I wish we ...Chelle you have described me to a tee. I wish we had snow to run in sometimes. To bad there wasn't snow there over Thanksgiving when I was in Utah. I would have loved running in it.foxontherunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10939182231530773754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19163408.post-24820859377258537172007-12-02T19:02:00.000-08:002007-12-02T19:02:00.000-08:00I am a winter running fan. I would say that other...I am a winter running fan. I would say that other than the extra time it takes to bundle-- I love it. I am just sure that breathing in that crisp, fresh air is even healthier than spring or summer air. ; )

I am also amazed at how quickly I warm up. I usually end up peeling off the too-many layers that I dressed in.

I'm in Salt Lake and we had an amazing snow fall this weekend... which means amazing running. Once the streets are clear, it is truly like running through a winter wonderland. I LOVE it. It seems that the snow mutes the noise of the world, too. I can't imagine someone choosing a treadmill over that experience. After my run I stood in my backyard and the song 'Still, Still, Still' came to mind. Simply beautiful.

To summarize... I would rank the seasons for running like this: Fall, Winter, Spring and then Summer (I hate the heat. I am using the word hate here... and I mean it!).Chellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14913067924030367632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19163408.post-52174822115344384632007-12-02T00:41:00.000-08:002007-12-02T00:41:00.000-08:00Hey, foxy - I recognize that place in the picture....Hey, foxy - I recognize that place in the picture. Isn't that your favorite stretch to run? Why is that?

I have to admit that winter running is difficult for me. I love getting all bundled up and breathing that fresh air. I would much rather run in frigid cold weather than blistering hot. I think spring is my favorite but winter isn't so bad.Roxannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821755209848969858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19163408.post-59582602146626135972007-12-01T15:34:00.000-08:002007-12-01T15:34:00.000-08:00I'm not so sure about this winters stuff. This Idaho winter weather is tough!Team Hannihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14237829613233235308noreply@blogger.com
