Running as Therapy

I know I have mentioned it before, but I am truly grateful for my running partners who are also my amazing friends. I LOVE being a stay at home mom, but it is definitely not the easiest job in the world. Sometimes I just don't feel like I am doing a good enough job and that things aren't going right. Chatting and venting with other moms reminds me that we are all in the same boat- just trying to do our best. I have really missed this aspect of running since I had Bryce. I had to run on my own as my body learned how to run again. Now I am grateful to be back running with my friends. Last week I had a good cry on my run. (Thanks Sarah!) Today I ran with 2 of my favorite people and it was so enjoyable. THIS is what I love about running.

What a ride it has been!

I completely agree on all accounts!

You'll never know how much your friendship means! Only a true friend would run in the dark in the middle of the night with me to help keep the boogyman away.

So true! It's almost as important as the cute butt thing.
