Alright, Here I go...I'm registered for my second race. This race sounds like so much fun, so please, if any of you are in the SLC area for New Year's eve, you should come and meet up with me.
The race starts at 11:30 PM, and the object of the race is to finish the 5K by midnight. And you even get Plaques for all registered runners (with bibs) who cross the finish line before midnight. Award for Best Costume, C-c-coldest Runner, and Fastest Runners (M&F).
I'm not sure if I will be able to finish before midnight as I am still only running a 10 minute mile, but why not try and push myself right? Plus, I'll have to run super fast if I want to kiss my husband at midnight. He is running with me again, how fun, and I'm so glad that he is supporting me in these races and participating himself.

Sounds like fun! We are leaving from Utah that morning, so we won't be able to join you. :-( I can't wait to hear about WHEN you beat the clock!

I'm dying with envy right now! I want to meet more of you mommies! I have never run a New Years Eve run, which is a real shame because I'm such a night owl.
My little sister and I are running this tonight for the first time as well. And we are both wondering if we will "Beat the New Year" as we are both running 10ish miles. Anyway this looks like a great group of moms. I would love to meet some of you and hopefully see you on roads soon! Sherri
