After taking a month off to let my foot heal I started training again today and it felt great. I was pretty nervous as I left the house, wondering if my foot would start hurting again. I kept it pretty slow and went for 2.5 miles. I didn't want to overdue on my first run back. I was so excited to go this far. The last time I attempted to run I couldn't even make it a half mile. When I was about a quarter mile from home I decided to sprint to see how I did. It was such a great feeling to get out there and run again. And running without any pain was awesome!! So you can mark me down for a big 2 runs in the run-for-the-bling contest...watch out mommies--here I come!
