I have an -itis

Just got back from the doctors. The MRI looked good there was nothing wrong whatsoever. All he could determine is that I have some sort of -itis. He said the prescription is rest but he knew that wasn't an option. So I continue to take anti-inflammatory, go to physical therapy, and deal with the pain from now until April 21. The thing is I feel great during the run when I'm warmed up and the endorphins kick in. It is the pain that I feel when I am not running that is causing me the problems. So at this point and time I'm just trying to get to Boston and not worry about any pr. I pray that I might get some relief from the PT soon.
As a side note if you ever get an MRI done and you carry the pics don't look at them. It grossed me out to see how much fat I have on my body.

You're a trooper foxy. I know I've said this to you before but your future may be in wheelchair racing. J/K. I'm so proud of you and Heather. You don't know how much I brag to people that I have two running friends that are doing Boston. I guess I hope it will elevate me to a higher running status as well.

I'm SO glad to hear it isn't a stress fracture. Get plenty of rest between April 21 and the next marathon we run together. :)

I am so happy for you! (Although, it doesn't sound "fun" to be running around in pain for the next 7 weeks either.) You are amazing and I can't wait to hear all about Boston. You are going to rock it!
