I think I'm sick in the head.

Today I got up and all I could think about doing was slapping on my fuel belt and going for a long run. However, I had promised my husband he could sleep in since he hasn't done that since I decided to train for the marathon way back when. After he got up we headed to the zoo for some family time. And still all I could think about while gazing upon some hippos was going on a dang run. Then we got home and my husband went to a wedding of a coworker while I sit here with the kids, dying to go on a run. I think this is all still part of my marathon blues. You would have thought I would have been so excited to have a Sat. that was minus a long run, yet, I can't get it off my mind. AND, the Tacoma Marathon is two weeks from today and if it wasn't 100 dollars to register, I'm pretty sure I'd sign up. I think I need therapy. :) I can't be the only one. Right?

We're creatures of habit.

Maybe a not-so-long long run would help?

I started to look at upcoming races the night I finished the 1/2- I think it has to be totally normal. I wanted to run long today, 2 miles just seems lack luster now.

I understand! My hubby was out of town until this evening, so I couldn't run today or yesterday. Sad, sad, sad. I neeeeed my running endorphins!

Wow, that is one illness I would love to catch. I still HATE heading out the door for a run. Everyday I dread it. Everyday. I have gotten to the point where I am excited to go for a walk. I use to hate that to. Does this mean I'm improving? Still hate going for a run. I sure hope that changes soon. It is still just so hard for me. Blah. But I do love all my running friends. I love you all...so I run!

I have been itching for a run all week, but my feet still hurt too much... maybe next week. And, I'm already planning my next big race. Yep, we're all crazy.

I think we are all a little messed up! :-) But we are healthy, right? I had the best run yesterday just chatting and being with friends. It felt great!!

Erin- Keep it up and you will love running, I promise!!

you're not sick - not at all! you're a runner, and that's what we do. :)

I think most people have addictive personalities in some way. Isn't it better to be addicted to running?!?!

Besides, you didn't let it get in the way of your family...you still kept your balance. I think you're awesome!! :)
