Mile 22

So, I'm doing the Ogden Marathon in May, and this will be my 9th marathon. I tend to hit the wall around mile 22, so I decided to put together a playlist on my iPod just for the last 4 miles. I titled it "Mile 22". It is all of my running songs that get me pumped. Thought I'd share it with you:

  1. Get Ready For This- The Hit Crew
  2. Miss Independent- Kelly Clarkson
  3. You Thought Wrong- Kelly Clarkson
  4. How Far We've Come- Matchbox Twenty
  5. Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield
  6. If You're Gonna- Natasha Bedingfield
  7. No Boundaries- Kris Allen
  8. I Run For Life- Melissa Etheridge
  9. Shine- 3 Doors Down
  10. Never Be Here Again- Hoobastank
  11. Unstoppable- Rascal Flatts
  12. Rise Up- Green River Ordinance
  13. Uprising- Muse
  14. Suddenly I See- KT Tunstall
  15. Change- Taylor Swift
  16. Run Runaway- Slade

Any other suggestions? Which songs get you pumped?

You don't know me, but I found your blog from a friend. I absolutely love it. I started running in 2007, and have been hooked since. Sorry if I seem like a blog stocker, but your information is just what I need right now. I'm excited to listen to some of your songs to see if it's what I need to pump me up. Keep up the good work.

I love anything by U2, but I also like "Medicate" by AFI, "Ghost town" by Shiny Toy Guns and stuff from Metric's new album. Good luck on your marathon. I haven't done one yet, but I keep thinking about it. So far, I've only done half marathons, but maybe one day.. : )

I don't listen to music when I run, but if I did, there is only one song for me for Mile 22 and every mile after that -- Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust."
