Question

If I woke up this morning, put on my running clothes (shoes and all) and then proceeded to use my early morning work out time farting around on the computer..... may I still count the work out? I certainly looked like someone who had been on an early morning run. In fact, I stayed in that outfit (running shoes and all) for a good portion of the day because it wasn't stinky and sweaty, like it would've been if I'd actually gone on the run!

...... Special Request: please post your answers ONLY if they are in the affirmative-- I promise I'll do the same for you some day when you need it, or am I the only one? ......

Thank you. ; )

Update:
I actually got up this morning, got dressed and went on a 6 mile run. Hooray! Have I lost any cred with the marathon mommies? ha. : )

I count THINKING about running as ACTUAL running. ;-)

Sorry I am just replying to this. We still think you rock! Also, we must have been in the same mode. I woke up on Thursday and just decided I didn't feel like running. Just one of those days. Then on Friday I couldn't run because I had an early morning flight. So, I ran on the beach on Saturday in CA, and it was an awesome 10 miler. Sometimes the cut back weeks help renew us!

Did your fingers get a lot of exercise on the computer keyboard? :)

Oh it makes me feel better to hear you all! Since I started running on my treadmill more often, my runs are all over the place time-wise --midmorning, after lunch while my little one naps, and today it's nearing 3:30 and I still have a 5 miler to pull, with an 8 tomorrow. Hmmm ... looks like it's gonna be an evening run. I do hate when I don't plan, though, and end up skipping a shower thinking I'll be running soon. Here's to procrastination!
