Speaking Honestly

This morning I did a bleacher-running work out at the local high school football stadium. Up and down the stairs. It was during this work out that I realized that not only do I love running for the mental health benefits, spiritual connection and because of my love of being outdoors (the mountains looked gorgeous this morning) but also for this reason:

Running makes my butt look good in jeans.

You, too? C'mon.... tell me I'm not the only one! : )

Hmmm ... sounds like I need to start doing some stairs!

Chelle,

Kelly and I discuss this all the time (not your butt). We hate to admit that 50% (or more) of our motivation for running is body image. But it is TRUE! My butt isn't as cute as it once was. I guess I need to hit some stairs, too!

Yep, I run for vanity also. Unfortunately I have struggled with weight and body image my whole life. Running is the one thing that helps me control my weight and makes me feel great! (My butt doesn't look good in jeans yet, working on it!)

You're not the only one, but I think I need to incorporate some stairs into my workout.

polliwog,

My friend who is running the Logan marathon wrote a note to you in the comments of the last post. It IS Logan that you're running... right?
