St. George runners--Good Luck!!

Less than 48 hours now, and some of you'll be running the St. George Marathon! My thoughts and prayers are with you--along with some shared anxiety and excitement. It's going to be a great race and I wish you all the best...meaning that you run well, the weather is perfect, you enjoy the moments (all 4-ish hours of them!), you run injury-free, or that, at the very least, you finish feeling fantastic about your performance. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that, come Saturday morning, I'll be thinking of you.

And here's a little shout-out to Kathleen, Kelli, and Talli--running their 1st marathon (yippee)! You are the champions, my friends.

I'm so excited for you guys!! I'm totally impressed that you've both had babies less than six months ago and are about to run 26.2 miles. Regardless of your finishing times (which I have a hunch will be very good), what you've accomplished leading up to this day has been nothing short of amazing. Really.

I look forward to hearing all the details!

Hey you other St. George runners that I haven't met in person! Our group (13 of us) coming from Oregon will probably have a sign so we all know where to meet after the race. Come over and say "HI!" I'd love to meet you in person. The sign will say "Oregon Donors and Marathon Mommies" or something like that. Good luck, everyone!
