Who's Ready to be a Nookachamp?

Sounds funny right. Let me explain. So we are hatching a plan for a marathon in April........ well what about joining me(Ang) for a half in January?? January 12th to be exact.

I have talked a little bit in my comments about not being able to get going again after I ran my half marathon in Sept. So I knew I just needed to find another race to get the running fire lit again. This race is just what I needed. I had a great training week last week. Anyway.

I know some of you live in Portland and thought that you just might be interested. The race starts at Skagit Valley Community College in Mt. Vernon, WA. The race is called the 29th annual Nookachamps Winter Runs. There is actually a 5k, 10k, or a half marathon. I am doing it for sure. I would love company. :) I have actually committed a sister in law and a friend to run it. They are both first timers. I'm really excited. So come join me in becoming an official Nookachamp!
