Have you chosen your training plan?

Not to freak you out, but we are 18 weeks away from Salt Lake City, people!! Erin's post inspired me to touch bases with everyone. Please read her post below and support her and each other! I know the Hal Higdon plans are 18 weeks long, so are you ready?! I am anxious to hear everyone's plans.

I have officially decided to use the Hal Higdon Advanced II plan. I just did it for 3 weeks and I really like it. So, I am starting over at week 1 and raring to go! Suzie and I have been lucky enough to be working with a great guy who wants to help us get faster. So we will be happy to pass any of that knowledge onto all of you.

I am so excited to be on this journey with all of you. Whether it is your first half marathon or 10th, let's make it your best!

Who is with us?

Team Hanni and I are doing the Hal Higdon Intermediate 1 plan. It's a little confusing to explain, but we had to switch some days around. Basically the long run days are saturday, Sunday is the rest day, and Thursday is the cross training day. And the other days are basically pushed back a day. So Tuesday's run is actually mon, Wed.'s run is actually Tues. Does that make sense?? Will someone look at it and tell me if you think it is a training plan that will get us ready good enough? You can use M&M link but go to the intermediate 1 plan. Thanks.

I am probably going to do Hal's intermediate 2 plan. I want to be on a similar track with you (M&M) and Suzie, but I can't hang with running six days a week that the advanced calls for.... both mentally and physically it would wear me out before I got to the starting line. But 5 days I week I can handle.

I AM SO EXCITED!

REALLY, REALLY, REALLY VERY EXCITED! Can you feel the excitement?

Three cheers for US!! : )

And if anyone out there is waffling.... NOW is the time to decide and commit. Now is the time to decide and have plenty of time to do it injury-free.

Excited!
