Anyone up for a Dedication Run?

Would any of you like to dedicate your run this Saturday to the Prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley? For those of you who don't know who he is, he is a great man of faith, love and tolerance for all mankind. He has been the Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the past 13 years. Please run a few miles for him, even if you didn't know and love him...he was a great man. I thought that maybe we could run a combined 97 miles to celebrate his 97 wonderful years on this earth. I can do 5...What can you do? I'm up for any suggestions on how we can celebrate his life this Saturday! Don't forget to pass it on to your friends too. This could be great!

Hey Erin,

Are you here in SLC locally? I am a reporter for KUTV 2, and I am doing a story on Hinckley tributes tonight and would lo-lo-love to include this fun idea into my story. Could you please get back to me asap? I'm under a deadline. Or any mommies who are here locally who are planning to dedicate their runs-- please let me know! Thanks! I am new to running - really new! I can barely run/walk 3 miles without wanting to die. I'm not sure how many miles I could commit to. I want to stretch myself but not sure how much I could physically do. So here is my plan...I am going to download Pres. Hinckley's talks from April & Oct 2007 conferences onto my i pod & I will push myself through those talks. Not sure what the mileage will be - I will post results after the run.

I'm in too...I found this from Kristi's blog. I will teach 1-45min spinning class and run 8 miles!
I will be running after his funeral so that I will have a bundle of memories to take on my stroll.
I love this challenge! Thanks for giving me a outlet to place all of my warm fuzzy thoughts of a truly inspiring man.
