Look what I am up against...



My husband, who was supposed to be at Home Depot, walked in with this contraband. Thanks, honey. :-)

I also went to a fundraiser for the girls at church and all of the snacks were evil! I am sticking with this "no-candy till SLC" because with my mileage decreasing, I need my calories to decrease also. Thanks for the challenge, Chelle!

In good news, I had a beautiful run this morning with many fun women (and men!). Suzie, Sticky Nikki, Smith, and Poky girl and many more who have not joined us on our blog (yet!) The conversation was great! It reminded me why I love running. We went to a state park and it was a gorgeous morning. What a great way to end the last full week!

How is everyone feeling? Can you believe it is less than a week away?! Can't wait to meet everyone! (Oh and I ran in the shirt this morning- I love it!! Yours will all arrive by Monday!)

I'm not even in the vacinity of close to sticking to no sugar. I had cotton candy at the Daffodil Parade today. Last time I checked that was pure sugar. OOoopsie.

You are AMAZING!!!!!

I am so proud of you! I really was going to try and stay out of the sugar, but my stress level is way to high for that.

Keep going, its only a few more days!

I just made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and ate half of the dough.

I did GREAT, until the weekend. And my period started. So I ate some Teddy Grahams and chocolate milk this weekend.

Now, let's focus on what I did NOT eat, that was all offered over the weekend: A trip to Baskin Robbins with the kids for milkshakes (resisted), Oreos and milk on Saturday night (resisted), Strawberry shortcake on Sunday night (resisted... and it ruined my night). It's been a TOUGH few days. I'm hanging strong through this week. M&M, you are not only in this quest!! : )

How many people are coming to the party, again SuzieP? I did say that I would buy a power gel for everyone if I slipped up. BUT, that was before I knew that there are like 50 people coming to the party! ha ha. Can a girl get a lil bit of a reprieve? Did I mention that I am PMS-ing? ha ha.

When I'm done with this, I'm going to write a very long post about why MODERATION is the best way to go... not DENIAL! : ) But I'm stubborn, like you, M&M, so I'm playing this one out until Friday night. : )

I've been back on track since. Except for technically NuGo bars have sugar. So maybe I really suck at this.
