The certainty of running

I don't always find it easy to get myself out the door to go for a run, but I always do.
Because I know I won't regret it.
And since motherhood doesn't come with many certainties, except the certainty of love, I just lóve certainties.

I don't think there are many runners out there who say: 'Gee, I wish I hadn't gone out for my run.'

So if you'll excuse me: I'm going out to take my happy run!

Amen! I just got back from my morning run, and it feels so good. I always wonder why I have those days where I think 'oh, can I even get up and do it?' because I always come back thinking 'I'm so glad I did!'

This was SO my frame of mind this morning before my run. Mondays are always like that for me. But here I am, 2 hours post run, and I still feel good that I went and pushed through it.

Happy running!

Those are my thoughts EXACTLY. That is also why I run!
