Role Call.

I may be the only one who is having a hard time getting back in the groove of running since the SLC marathon. I know Suzie and M&M are in the groove, they just ran another marathon! And Erin and Annie lead the running contest with 5 runs each. That leaves Chelle. So Chelle, am I the only one or are you having a hard time getting back into the groove too? If I missed another mommy that ran the marathon let me know. What about you ladies that just ran other marathons? Or what about you half marathoners? Is anyone else finding it hard to get back to a routine??

Well I have a plan. I need to sign up for a race. For some reason, I have a hard time motivating if I'm not "training." So, I have heard some mention on this blog about the Provo River Trail Half marathon on Aug. 9th. I think I'm going to do it. Who else is in? (AnnieBananie is already listed as running it, so that makes two of us so far.)

It took me a while after SLC to get back into the swing of it. I took off some running time to bike and play soccer and just have fun. Now I am back in and actually running the Provo 1/2 since I missed the registration for the Hobble Creek 1/2. So count me in- I would totally love to start off that race with someone!

I'm also having a hard time staying motivated without a goal in mind! I NEED to train for another race. I might be there for the Provo 1/2 marathon. My family is having a little reunion that week in UT. It would be great to meet some you marathon mommies :)

I have totally struggled at running since the SLC half. I need to find a race to run but I am in AZ and haven't been able to find any that aren't on Sunday. Bummer!

Ang, the Provo Half? I'm totally in. Plan on it!

And I will be forever grateful for THIS post from you, that in the nicest way possible was asking when am I (specifically) gonna get off my arse and start running again. ha ha!

Seriously though, I have maintained my 10 mile long run, which I plan to maintain and then train for the Provo 1/2 in August. That is a perfect plan - and I can't wait to see some of you cool chicks again. I have deemed the rest of 08 and into spring of '09 as a 26.2 mile-free zone. No full marys for this girl. But I'm all over the half marathon, and I'll put the Provo half on my calendar as something to work towards.

Woo Hoo (pretend that I just screamed thar real loud and obnoxious)

I am running... but it is not because I wake up every morning wanting too.... I have a few local friends who expect me to be there every morning and that is what is getting me out of bed right now.... that and the triathalon that is quickly aproaching! Recruit a local friend who is not burnt out right now and tell her to be naggy if you don't show... it works wonders for motivation :)

I just ran Ogden marathon a couple of weeks ago and normally I would take some time off, eat like a pig, and get a massage or two. However, I have the Wasatch Back Relay coming up in 2 1/2 weeks, so I'm still running.

This weekend I have a training run up to Suncrest from the Utah County side with my Wasatch Back Team. Wow, I just drove it and I'm seriously scared.

I haven't run the Provo 1/2, but I've heard it's a lot like Hobble Creek, which I have run three times and absolutely love!

Have fun ladies at Provo!

OH NO! I can't believe I didn't register in time for Hobble Creek! Now my plans are all messed up. I won't be in UT in time for the Provo half unless I do some serious re-arranging of my summer schedule, which is unlikely. I'm very jealous - sounds like a lot of the Mommies will be there and I would love to join you! But it probably won't happen. :(

I would have loved to run it but I am signed up for Hobble Creek 1/2 and I think that is enough for me right now. :) Sounds like fun!
