it can only mean one thing

5 bags like these, a bunch of safety pins and new shirts for all can only mean one thing.
Turkey Trot in the A.M.!
It is called the Turkey Chase because someone dresses up like a Turkey and we all chase him. Fun huh!

Hope ya'll have fun Turkey Runs in your town too!

I LOVE that one of my favorite holidays is also associated with so many races! Our local race is called the "Give 'N Gobble". It is a food drive, a 5K and a 10K. My entire family is doing it first thing in the morning. I love that my kids love this stuff, too! I just wish WE had a guy dressed up as a turkey to chase. That sounds fun! www.willrunforfood.com

How cute! I was such a bum this year and didn't find a turkey trot in time. Looks like my family will be trotting alone. :) I love that you get to chase a turkey! How cool!
(Oh, and I've been meaning to tell you that I think I saw you at Richmond! From a distance... and I'm not sure it was you, but it looked an awful lot like your picture. I lost you in the crowd but I think I made a discovery... I tried to find your email address in my box from when you wrote to wish me good luck, but I had deleted it. Email me back if you have a minute!)
