First Day of Official Training for the SLC Marathon 2009: Roll Call

If you are following an 18 week marathon training plan, today, Monday the 15th of Dec. would mark the first official day of training. Last year we had a get together the day before the race with all of the mommies who were running one of the races. It was so fun to meet other mommies and to train together via the internet. So who's in for this year??? And which race are you running? As for me, I'm in for the marathon! Let's do this together!

I'm afraid all I will be in for is the 5K. AFter the delivery I can't even exercise until March (c-section) so the 5K will be pushing me. But I'm in...and Kristi's pasta is sounding pretty good right now!

(Ang...Baby's H pictures turned out so fabulous! Can I book your for baby S?

Ahh...You brought up what I already have circled on my calendar but I'm to nervous to think about! I'm doing the marathon-it will be my first full marathon after several half marathons!(and another in a couple of weeks). It will be fun to train together via the internet! I'm in!

i can't wait to live closer to the west so this will be more doable. maybe i should just train for it even though I wont' be doing it. Winter is such a miserable time for my non-fit body.

I'm doing the 1/2 marathon with a few friends. I have started training, but only up to about 15 miles a week at this point.

So wish could do the full again! But, just not too realistic for me this year. I will see about the 1/2 or the 5k. So I am in, just not sure which one yet. I will have my baby tuesday! So then, YEAH!!!! I can get back to running, can't wait for the running therapy again!
