New Year Post :)

Well I have been absent for a while from MM.. but I am happy to report that I am finally injury free and into the second week of training for my second 1/2 marathon!
I feel like 2008 was such a struggle in many ways.. foot injury, back injury, shoulder injury, family illnesses... a few very frustrating months!

I am so happy to report that yesterday i ran 4.5 miles for the first time in many months! Getting back into running feels GREAT.
My goals for 09:

1. Stay injury free!
2. train for and run half marathon the last weekend in Feb
3. get back my pre injury weight back (drop 15lbs)
4. successfully stick with my weight training too!
5. Run at least 2 races (at least one of them a half)

I'm so with you! Congrats on your first run back! I can totally relate to everything you wrote! Best of luck on the second half -- I'm training for my second half too! :)
