Well, I have always loved the exercise part, it is the eating right that always gets me! I am frustrated with my weight right now, but I can't seem to quit snacking and eating desserts. So, it is time to hold myself accountable. I am using fitday.com to track my eating and exercise. My goal is to lose 17 lbs by my anniversary of August 21. I would like to lose more than that, but since I am nursing I still need to eat more than normal. I am going to reward myself every 5 lbs lost. I hope I can do this!! Check up on me, okay?
As for running, I couldn't wake up this morning, so when I realized I only had time for a 3 miler, I almost didn't go. Then I remembered that 3 miles is a great workout for me now so I grabbed my shoes and took off. The weather was cool and I had a fantastic run! I was able to compare it to when I ran the same route 2 weeks ago, and I can already see such progress. I am so glad I ran!
Cherl and Chelle, are you interested on posting on here? When Sarah and I made this site we planned on letting any "Marathon Mommies" who wanted to post on here. Let us know. We would love to have you join in.

I was just waiting for you to ask-- ha ha. Yes...It would be great fun-- especially if we meet at the Provo 1/2! Are you two running the St. George this year? I am not. I am starting to wonder if I will be a 1/2 marathon mommy for the next while. I enjoy every aspect of a 1/2 marathon. Know what I mean?
And I hear you on the eating right component of health and fitness. It's tricky for most everyone. This will be a great place to help keep you motivated. That's a huge part of it. Good job setting goals!
My husband and I are taking our first ever "parents only" vacation to Mexico next week. That has been my goal as of late-- getting ready to spend a week in a bathing suit and feel totally at ease. : )
