Heavy Legs?

Help! For the last few months I am consistently having days where my legs feel like I have 200lbs in each leg! I have been running for the last 17 yrs and have yet to feel like this for an extended period of time. I am running 3-4x/wk and biking 1x/wk. Have any of you experience this and if so what did you guys do?

I feel like that once in a while. Maybe you should start doing 3 rest days instead of 2 for a couple of weeks.

Yes, I've felt like that. Sometimes I feel like I'm running in deep water. For me, it helps to keep moving forward and then rest. Suddenly, I feel better running a shorter distance.

I just did my first marathon Saturday. It was awesome.

Juli, that is fantastic! What an acomplishment. It is really hard to describe how you feel crossing that finish line to someone who doesn't run. It is so empowering! Way to go!
