This is not the actual sunrise from this morning.. but this is close to what the sky looked like :) It was amazing!
14miles. not as fast as I was hoping for... 2 hours 26 mins
but I am trying hard to not be worried about time.. just get the miles in and not quit.
The sunrise was amazing!
Next week: 16 miles.
now... time to rest and eat and soak these sore legs. :)

Congratulations!
The best thing about training for your first marathon is that almost every time you do your long run, you're setting a new PR for distance. No matter how long it took, just knowing you accomplished the new distance is extremely satisfying.
I've popped into your blog a couple times and I'm really impressed with what you've done... all from determination, sheer will and hard work. Before long, you'll be able to add "Marathoner" to your list of accomplishments. It's the best feeling in the world.
Keep up the great work!
Great work! Definitely listen to your own advice and do not worry about the time.
Congrats!! I agree with Tall Girl Running- every new distance is magical and empowering! You put in the miles during the week and trust your body will adapt and do the long run.
Long runs are truly all about long, slow distance. You are building your endurance and if you go too fast you will get into your anaerobic system which you don't necessarily want to do on a long run. Save the speed for the shorter runs if you would like. Just enjoy the miles- don't worry about the time. Great attitude!
You're doing so great!!!
