The Top Ten Things I Miss About Running

  1. I miss my Garmin. I am in love with that sage green little monster.
  2. I miss looking for new running music.
  3. I miss exploring the outdoors.
  4. I miss the beautiful new running shoes.
  5. I miss training for something.
  6. I miss not having to go to the gym or having to do other forms of exercise.
  7. I miss the sound of feet hitting the pavement.
  8. I miss peaceful, early mornings.
  9. I miss that meditative moment when you clear your mind and can just ‘be’.
  10. I miss the accomplishment.

Stress fracture is healing well...I should be able to start running again (VERY SLOWLY) in about a month. It has been a very long break. I'm ready to be back in the game. Keep inspiring me, Ladies!!

I tore my hamstring last year. It really makes you appreciate things. I actually came back to running with more passion and determination than before so maybe when it's all said and done it'll be good thing. OK-that's garbage-a stress fracture is never a good thing. Just trying to make you feel better! Good luck with your recovery!!

I've been down and out off and on for the past three months. I miss a lot of these things too. Let's hope for a good comeback!

I miss it too. :-( I am 32 weeks pregnant and it's just not the same to run now. I cannot wait to train again.

I hope you're all healed up soon!

I've got a broken ankle AND a couple of sprains. Yeah, I totally miss running and I totally agree with you about this list. Hopefully SOON we can get running again. I salivate every time I see a runner lol. Heal well!
